Tinie Tempah reaching Platinum

Tinie Tempah has had an amazing start to his career, Pass Out took the charts by storm. I still remember the days of his single Wifey and look at him now. It's been a year since Pass Out was released and it is still being played like it's a new track. He decided to reflect on his blog. Read below to see what he had to stay. Also check out the video of him receiving his platinum plaque!

“It’s amazing to know myself and Labrinth managed to create something that meant so much to so many people… after its amazing entry into the chart at the No.1 spot and the countless sync’s it got I realised it had almost become like a soundtrack to our culture.”

“I still have vivid dreams about the first day I heard Pass Out on day time radio…It was such a revolutionary moment for me, I listened to it Objectively, as a fan…I turned the Radio up and then down again and then off and then on and it felt right, it felt like something amazing was on the verge of happening and it did, not just for me but for black music and music with an underground origin.”
“I would also like to thank you all for the support for my debut album Disc-Overy which to date has sold over 500,000 Copies, in such a single driven market there is a lack of faith regarding albums especially amongst ‘Urban’ artists and I really hoped and prayed that I could break that mould and reinstall faith into what the music represents and where its come from which is why I’m so happy it has had the impact that it has!”
