Lloyd debuts ‘Guns & Roses’ tattoo and new haircut

Lloyd popped into BET's 106 & Park and debuted his new hairstyle and tattoo. The tattoo is one of many of the R & B singers collection, he explained why he got it to host Terrence J I’m a walking contrast. I go from hard to soft, I go from guns to roses, which is what’s on my tat. And I like to go from the streets to the sheets." He added "I make street-savvy R&B music, but I also like to slow it down and be sensual at times, so when you listen to King of Hearts you get a lot of the contrast of who is me." He added that the tattoo reminded him of his late Grandad, "I lost my best friend in the world July 4th of last year, my grandfather, and the whole time I did it, I just thought about him, all the good times we shared. Every July 4th I go down to New Orleans and I visit him and spend time with the family."

Miguel is also known for this bold haircuts and made his thoughts clear on Lloyd's new look and tweeted "Imitation is the Highest form of Flattery. Shout to Lloyd."

Beyonce graced the stage at Macy’s 35th Annual 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular by performing God Bless the U.S.A and her latest single Best Thing I Never Had. She performed thousands of people including the armed forces who were among the crowds of people. The New York back drop of the Hudson River and Statue Of Liberty were lighten up by fireworks whilst celebrations took place.

An image of the album cover for Watch The Throne has been released. Riccardo Tisci, creative director of Givenchy, created the royal cover. The highly awaited album has still not been given a release date but is available for pre order. It is rumoured that the first single may be with us by 11^th July and will feature Bruno Mars and Beyonce, titled Lift Off. Jay-Z and Kanye as of yet have not confirmed this.
